Netflix's Badly in Love is all over my feed lately. Apparently it's getting attention overseas too. Is Japanese "Yankii" culture weirdly appealing to foreigners?

This was the year of Animation films! The domestic box office revenue of "Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle" is about to reach 40 billion yen, and "Chainsaw man: Reze arc" is also about to reach 10 billion yen. For me personally, watching Demon Slayer movie with the Japan biggest IMAX screen at Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro was such a great experience.

添削:This year was a great one for animated movies. Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle (Chapter One) is about to hit 40 billion yen at the domestic box office, and Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc is closing in on 10 billion. Personally, the highlight was seeing Demon Slayer on Japan's biggest IMAX screen at Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro—it was incredible.

This year has been packed with great animated films. Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle (Chapter One) is close to 40 billion yen domestically, and Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc is approaching 10 billion. For me, the best part was watching Demon Slayer at Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro on Japan's largest IMAX screen.

I saw one post from the middle aged woman went viral, and it says: "I used to see these things like drinking hot water in the morning, go for walk, do some yoga as too mindful or too self-conscious, but gradually come to realize that these are the rituals or even prayer to maintain your mental health." Me, as also a middle aged women, totally agreed.

添削:I saw a post by a middle-aged woman that went viral. It said: "I used to look at things like drinking warm water in the morning, going for walks, or doing yoga and think, 'That's so mindful' or 'trying too hard.' But now I came to realize they're like rituals—almost like prayers—for keeping my nervous system regulated and my mind steady." As someone in my late 30s too, I couldn't agree more.

I came across a viral post by a woman around my age. She wrote, "I used to roll my eyes at 'mindful lifestyle' stuff - like warm water in the morning, walks, yoga. But now I see it as a ritual, almost like a prayer, to keep my nervous system in check." As someone in my late 30s, I completely related.

添削:Twitter added a controversial feature that lets other users edit images or illustrations that someone else uploaded. I'd be really sad if my favorite artists ended up leaving Twitter.
Twitter rolled out a "people can edit your images" thing and... yeah, no. If my favorite illustrators bounce, I'm gonna be so sad.

MAPPA announced that they will start working on Chainsaw Man's International Assassins arc. People are saying that International Assassins arc itself doesn't last for one season of the TV series. So it might be a film again, or if it's TV, they might re-edit the Reze arc into a few stories for TV series (like ufotable did to Mugen Train arc of Demon Slayer), and then link to International Assassins arc. Well, since Terrestrial broadcasting has a various restrictions so we don't know if that they can decently visualize Quanxi's iconic scene, film can do. Anyway I can't wait!

添削:MAPPA announced that a new Chainsaw Man project, the International Assassins arc, is in production. The thing is, that arc alone probably isn't long enough for a full TV season, so people are wondering if it'll be another movie. Or, if it does become a TV season, they might re-cut the Reze arc into a few episodes (kind of like how Demon Slayer did a TV edit of the Mugen Train story) and then move into the Assassins Arc afterward. But TV broadcast standards can be pretty strict, so I have no idea whether they could air "that" Quanxi scene as-is. I'd be totally fine with a theatrical release. Either way, I'm excited.

I saw this travel program that introduced Venezia(間違いではないが英語ではVenice) the other day, and felt like if one does not have knowledge about the World Heritage or historical buildings, it is a bit difficult to fully enjoy the place. I remembered visiting the Art Museums this year without research in advance, which I ended up not really understand(ing) what they really worth(Be動詞が必要).

添削:I watched a travel show featuring Venice the other day, and it made me realize that without some background knowledge, it's hard to fully appreciate World Heritage sites and historic buildings. It also reminded me that I went to a few museums this year without doing any research beforehand, which I ended up not really understanding what they were really worth.
